Budget Planner is a free, browser-based tool for the 50/30/20 budget rule, expense tracking, and savings-goal planning. This policy explains exactly what happens to your data.
Everything you enter — income, expenses, and savings goals — is stored only in your browser's local storage on your own device. It is never sent to us or to any third party, and we cannot see it. Clearing your browser data removes it permanently.
We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate, anonymous usage (for example, how many people open the tool and which tabs are used) so we can improve it. This does not include your budget figures and is not used to identify you personally. You can block analytics with any standard content or tracking blocker without affecting the tool.
There is no sign-up, no login, and no bank or card connection of any kind. The tool works fully offline once loaded.

In the mobile app version, an optional one-time "Pro" unlock (unlimited expenses and export) is handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never receive your payment card details. The web version is fully free.
